In addition to the green material highlight, Ecolux Homes also integrates Smart Homes smart control methods into the home space, allowing homeowners to optimize lighting solutions such as changing light intensity and color temperature over time, automatically turning on lights when there is movement, and opening channels and entertainment programs by voice.
The goal of this solution is to meet the demand for living spaces that harmonize with nature, are environmentally friendly, and still ensure the optimization of durable, comfortable, and modern elements for the home. When launching this solution, TranDuc Homes recognized market demand through investments in resorts, weekend getaways, or convenient homes. Therefore, the products aim to create a flexible living space with luxurious designs and diverse styles from classical and traditional to modern.
According to a representative from TranDuc Homes, the foundation of this method stems from the “Comprehensive Green Home” philosophy that the company pursues. Specifically, during the actual construction process, the company’s leadership realized that for a long time, the Vietnamese architecture and construction industry has always prioritized the use of hardwoods from tropical forests for projects, while natural wood resources are gradually depleted over the years.
“By using materials from planted forest wood in home construction, we provide a more optimal green solution and a new way of thinking for all architectural components and interior and exterior finishes,” the company representative expressed.

The wood types used by TranDuc Homes are entirely harvested from planted forest wood sources with a 15-year cycle, planned and controlled by reputable international organizations. In addition, Ecolux Homes is always associated with green gardens and focuses on minimizing energy costs by utilizing natural light through the arrangement of large-area glass doors to receive light. For each specific product, the company will have its own solution “tailor-made” for each different case and requirement.
Technological Shift in the Wood Industry
TranDuc Corporation was established in 2000, including two factories: Fine Hospitality Furnishing – FHF and TDH Green Building Solutions Co., Ltd. – TranDuc Homes, with an area of over 20 hectares located in Binh Duong. From the beginning, the company was oriented to become a comprehensive green solution provider for the architecture, construction, and interior and exterior decoration industries in the high-end hotel, resort, and entertainment market segment in Vietnam.

Upon entering the market, the leadership of TranDuc Corporation recognized that the architecture and construction industry was facing a major shift in wood materials and technology. Therefore, the company also determined that change was necessary and quickly updated modern wood processing technologies to create products with good quality, high durability, and optimized aesthetic value.
These include H3, H4, H5, H6… standard wood treatment technology that helps prevent rot, deformation, and termites in all environments such as indoors, outdoors, and submerged in seawater. Or Glulam wood joining technology, using laminated wood panels to form a solid component, replacing conventional steel or concrete structural systems, which can be flexibly applied in residential construction, commercial buildings such as restaurants, clubs, sports rooms, or wooden bridges. In addition, there is a heat treatment method that changes the chemical molecules inside the wood and creates a wood product with excellent water resistance, high durability, adapts to harsh weather, has a beautiful brown finish, and retains its natural wood grain.

In May 2022, TranDuc Homes also put into operation a Thermo wood processing plant – heat-treated timber, with a fully automated production line, achieving a capacity of 300 m3 of finished wood per month, using European processing equipment and technology. At the same time, the company has just started establishing a Green Material Solution Center, researching comprehensive green solutions from natural materials: wood, stone, rattan, bamboo, leaves… to technology applications in products, which is expected to contribute many new ideas to the interior and exterior architecture and construction industry.
Sharing about the challenges of the wood industry, Mr. Lam believes that although the market balance has not really brought advantages to products pursuing the green home model, TranDuc Homes is determined to bring more new and different values to Ecolux Homes.
“Difficulties will not delay our efforts. Because in the end, what we want is not just beautiful products, but beautiful homes for users,” Mr. Lam affirmed.
